Terrorism/Vulnerability Risk
The world is becoming more dangerous place and the threat of terrorism is increasing. For example the authorities in London have warned that a major terrorist attack is inevitable, “when” not “if” is the real question. Terrorists these days are more sophisticated and are considering innovative ideas such as biological attacks, chemical attacks, dirty bombs and even nuclear weapons. The availability of radioactive and other dangerous materials is frightening in the ex-Soviet republics.
To
try to understand the terrorists’ motives and identify their potential
targets specialised risk techniques are needed. We use our multi-discipline
knowledge to combine the technical risk with political knowledge and assess
the vulnerability of a community/business/organisation to terrorism risk.
